Lazell has earned the reputation as one of the finest steel drummers in the Midwest. He performs regularly at the Intercontinental Hotel and for several restaurants, special events, and fairs throughout the country. He has shared the stage with Gospel and Jazz recording artists Shirley Caesar, Helen Baylor, Peggy Lacey, Champion, Bobby Connors, Steve Lawrence, Chad Hughes (Sir Wick), Jason Goudeau, and The James Ward Band.
